Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to work out of their Abingdon, MD office.

The Program Management Specialist leads activities, identifies project risks, develops mitigation plans and supports complex problem areas of the project including investigating or identifying business, scientific, technology, engineering, operational, professional and/or policy issues; conducting analysis of these issues; and providing advice in support of major programs/projects.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Prepare correspondences, reports, white papers, minutes, spreadsheets, communication products, briefs and presentations to support project and/or system functions.

  • Maintain and tracks action items, and participates in acquisition information management.

  • Work with ALC Subject Matter Experts (SME) in organizing and supporting business process change management of integrated logistics processes, including the development of project plans to identify and address any ALC process affected by new Information Systems.

  • Coordinate and facilitate SME interviews, develop standard artifacts for mapping of “as-is” and “to-be” processes, and draft and edit of formal process documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in logistics, or a related field, and a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics

  • Business

  • Engieering

  • Information Systems Management

  • or a related area

And

  • Working knowledge in at least three (3) of the following disciplines:

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics

  • Statistics

  • Operations Research

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Program Management

Preferred:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in logistics, or a related field, and a Master’s Degree in one of the following:

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics

  • Business

  • Engineering

  • Information Systems Management

  • or a related area And

  • Working knowledge in at least three (3) of the following disciplines:

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics

  • Statistics

  • Operations Research

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Program Management

And

  • Five (5) years' experience in USCG procedures/applications to include:

  • USCG aeronautical practices as defined in CIM 13020.1 (series)

  • ACMS

  • ALMIS

  • AMMIS

  • Two (2) Software experience (or similar application)years of PTC Parts

Security:

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
