What makes a successful Systems Analyst?

As a systems analyst, you are part of the technical team that is responsible for administration and troubleshooting of planning systems. As a member of the group, you react to changing business requirements and updated technologies, while identifying areas of opportunity for continual process improvements. Due to the variety of work involved, the ability to be nimble and flex your skills to analyze, communicate, learn and understand what changes may affect your processes—drives efficiency.

Education / Experience

  • Required: Undergraduate degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent

  • Plus: Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent

  • Minimum Level of Experience: 5 years


  • Understanding of basic finance principles along with functionality of the core SAP ERP system

  • Prior programming development experience (e.g. VBA, java, C# or C++)

  • Familiarity with relational and multidimensional database concepts

  • Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)

  • Web design (primarily Microsoft Sharepoint)

  • Ability to work independently when required
