Engility is in need of a Navy Qualified Validator to support our Cyber Security Test & Evaluation program in Virginia Beach, VA (Dam Neck area).
The NQV will perform Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Assurance, Vulnerability analysis, risk remediation, and the implementation of cybersecurity controls within DoD – Navy Integrated Combat Systems, supporting the Navy’s current and future platforms. Possesses an in-depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, DoD cybersecurity policies, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations. Possesses an in-depth understanding of the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Risk Management Framework (RMF), Platform IT (PIT), and the implementation of Cybersecurity and IA boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances. Examples of these appliances and applications are Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Switch/Routers, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), EMASS and Host Based Security Systems (HBSS). Site support location is Virginia Beach areas, with limited travel to areas within the region of support.
Perform Validation of Navy A&A packages.
Plan and execute cybersecurity testing.
Perform vulnerability analysis of DoD systems and identify, report, and resolve security violations.
Develop Security Assessment Plan (SAP).
Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation artifact documentation to include Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Mitigation Strategies, Risk Assessment Report (RAR), and Security Assessment Report.
Secret Level Security Clearance
Minimum IAT Level III/IAM Level II
Minimum of 5 Years Cyber Security Experience
In depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policies.
Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and other DoD cybersecurity tools.
Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
